Social Justice

In some educational settings, social justice enables quite the discussion and conflict for many people. Its extremely difficult for many schools to distribute social justice for each and every student. In my opinion, I think that there should be discussions or state meeting stating different problems in Massachusetts school systems that have to deal with social justice. Social justice in educational settings can be defined as all students having equal educational opportunities. Now, this could mean a variety of different things. Some children may come from a background in which they can not afford to buy lunch so they are stuck bringing in a lunch on a day to day basis. To a bigger extent, some children do not have the opportunity for extra help because their parents can not afford it. In cases such as these, what are the parents and children supposed to do. Shouldn't there be people there to help guide them and give them support in whatever circumstances they are under? After doing some research and reading about social justice, I came to an understanding that some school systems are doing as much as they can to help improve social justice. If school systems took the extra step and looked into their students families and financial problems, than they may be able to help families in many different ways.
On one of the websites that I was looking at, the author of the website started off by stating that every morning, school systems say the Pledge of Allegiance. At the end of the Pledge of Allegiance, it states, "One nation, under god, indivisible, with liberty, and JUSTICE for all." Why are schools saying this every morning if there is not Justice for all? And to that extent, should schools systems really be saying this if it's not true and followed up upon?
